User Model / Handheld Configuration

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

User interface is left to the discretion of each developer. The reason for using the iTouch/iPhone for the competition was to allow leverage of existing efforts in iPhone game development you might be doing now. The idea for the hand held device is to have what is important to the individual in player view only. This keeps the B!G screen clear of all but the action! As an example of content;  how many lives I have left or how much gas is left in my vehicle all the “dashboard” sort of stuff is on my hand held. Now if you have more than one level or page on the hand held for me to play at home with, well that is up to you how deep you want to take me the player in your game experience.
